your going to be maxing out those injectors rather soon................. if you keep pushing.

Tim, how is the 25 better then a 30...? twin cam head on a 30 = good bye lag and lack of torque!

who did your conversion? was it XTTTTTRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEMMMMMMMAH?

plus - this "purpose" your suggesting.... im guessing 230rwkw in a 1100-1200kg car is just pure wheel spin....?

i've got a set of 480cc injectors going in next week, i'm not chasing big numbers only 250-260kw
no xtreme didn't do the conversion,it was done on the gold coast a few years ago. i bought it with the 25 in it. it was a stock 180sx with a stock 25 in it.

that all depends on heavy my right foot gets Twisted Evil

Question - if your only chasing 260rwkw why use a 3076? the 3071r will do that power and then some comfortably and respond better then the 3076.....

i got it because if i want to chase more power in the future i can and it was the same price as the 3071r at the time. if i want to get more response i can always go back down to a .63 rear housing and the other reason is BECAUSE I CAN.

which is why i asked the question as you only said you were aiming for 260rwkw peak....

almost every turbo is the same price.... depends where you look and who you know.

Everyone on NS.com is raving about the 3071r anyways. He could be puffing along a gt28rs and get those figures aswell but its down to personal preference.

hey all, here's an update:
car has been painted....finally. it is now gunmetal grey.
all the guards have been hand flared and pumped, engine bay seam welded and smoothed, inside has been seam welded, antenna hole smoothed as well as holes in the hatch.
ditched the pillar mount guages for a greddy profec b & defi triple din cluster
jvc head deck, gtr seatshave also found they way into the car and am going to start recovering the panels in the boot. got heaps of other bits as well. tomei poncams, oil cooler, new exhaust system. i am also hiding most of the engine bay loom. car still has a long way to go but hope to be back out cruising by end of june.
cheers
Rob
