| It appeared he pushed pretty much the front end back and up, destroyed the intercooler, the radiator was pushed up (so most likely damaged the core or either end tank) and what ever lines (maybe tranny cooler line) and couple others aswell. I wouldn't be game to drive it again they loaded it on the truck to bring it back down the hill, I left before lunch so am not entirely sure what he did from then on. I wouldn't race the car any further, given the damage is pretty substantial and also the times he was running was pretty fast, in its condition it wouldn't be fast enough to bother racing (ie, cooling problems, boost leak from damage to intercooler and piping) so I would assume he is out for the rest of the event.
It is a bummer but he wasn't too worried about it, that's the name of the game, you race your car expecting to crash, if you keep the attitude that you won't crash and you do, you can only blame yourself and no one else. Sure enough Coop spent a great deal of time and money on his car and is a shame to see it come to such an abrupt end, but he will go back and fix it and be out competing in the other events soon enough. He has a great attitude to racing and fully understands the ups and downs of racing.
At the time he was 3rd fastest next to the Skelta and the R35, the Skelta set a time of 4.08 minutes and the R35 was 4.15 or something. Coops was 4.18 from memory with his fastest run.
Good Racing, | |

| Nice, hope he didn't damage the dry sump header tank, it's behind the drivers headlight. Pretty sure he's still on low boost too so it's gonna be on like donkey kong when the motor is run in. |

| Yeah apparently he was only running about 350rwkw on the run in tune... man that thing sound angry even with that power.... can't wait to hear it screaming later in the year. Definitely a good car to watch race.
Everyone held their breath down at the pits when we could hear him go from full throttle to skidding, skidding, skidding and then crash and nothing... we were like WTF did he just go off... then radio was CRASH CRASH CRASH, and pretty much everyone went "Oh No".
Lucky they were fine and had a good chuckle afterwards. | |

| Skelta G-Force S/C, has a Supercharged Honda F20C engine in it.... this thing hooks.... was at the last Hill Climb meet and my guess is it is a local car so expect to see it getting around a bit more.... very nice and potent. | |
