| Heres an idea, post pics of your previous cars. A chance to show the long list of cars you've had. Post pics, and any interesting info I'll start with my FXGT Corolla, my first car. Bought it of my auntie for $3500. Completely stock. Just wheels, springs and schmick paint job - $5000 Unfortunately got totaled, rear ended at the lights. 2nd Corolla I bought with the insurance money of $7,000, Cost me $9500 and quite a nice car for a 17 year old. A bit stereotypical though, young Asian dude with a nice car. 20 Valve Blacktop - Rebuilt 6 Speed Manual LSD - 8500rpm with open trumpets absolutely sings. Fast, but its absolutely gutless below 4000rpm. Bought the car with the wheels on it, really don't like those wheels Go on... | |

| Here's my old CRX. Looking back now, i was stupid to sell him before the CRX, i had this...a 1976 LA Chrysler Lancer. It had a stereo system, neons and 16" rims. Went pretty dam hard too. Mine was in a burgundy colour though and my first ever car was this...a Datsun 180b in babyshit yellow and nowhere near as cool as this one | |

| My first car was a 1988 Mazda 929 deluxe, full luxo barg had power bloody everything, even had a 10 way graphic equalizer standard. Mine was dark blue metallic with different mags to this one though, and it had pillarless windows. |

| Well my first car was an 84 Cordia GSR. Bought it from brisbane from one of my brothers mates. It had the larger "leaded" style turbo and went ok for 9psi. Unfortunatly i have no pics but it looks nearly identical to this one, had different style 17's and a blue interior. I eventually sold that and bought my first Gti. I kept it relativly stock and clean. | |

| Sorry I dont have any originals but these are very close to what I had. First was a VB Commodore 202 slush box. Then I blew the motor and put in a 308 with Manual box. Looked the same as this but with VB grill and no motor out the bonnet. Also had white HJ Monaro GTS rims on her. Second car was a R31 Skyline 4 door. Stock maroon paint and small wheels. RB30E with GTS stage 2 cam, pacemaker extractors, 2.5" high flow zorst, custom (Read homemade) intake with shielded ram pod and custom written computer chip all good for 152Kw at the rears. Oh and I fitted a R200 LSD rear diff. COULD LAY RUBBER in this bad boy. Pity I didnt do the suspension as it would have drifted alot better than it did. | |

| I learnt to drive in a CA18 Non-turbo S13 Silvia Manual... was a bucket of snot. Well my very first car owned was a GH Sigma 5spd 2 litre SOHC Astron 2000. Weapon. $500 Next I had a XE Falcon S Wagon with a mild 302 Windsor and C4 with LSD. Was fun and thirsty. $NOTHING Then Bought the Accent 2003 LC, blew the gearbox went through 3 clutches and spent about 10 Grand on it, its still kicking around Townsville Metallic Blue, Altezza's and with 16" Shadow Chrome Adrenalins. $13000 Then I Bought the R32 GTR Twin Turban!! Pretty Much a money pit. Spent over 20 Grand on it and got absolutely no where. $25000 For a month or two in between somewhere I had a AE88 Corolla then got rid of it not long after. $1200 Last year dumped the GTR after a few years of possession and upgraded to the 08 LT Focus (Yes you heard me right) $20000 About a month or so ago, picked up a straight clean EG 92 Honda Civic for 750 Bucks (Cheers Ruddy) and currently in the process of prepping it for track work which will be a while away still. $750 Got plans on buying a SL55 AMG sometime soon-ish, but might buy a house first I think, or I will be in trouble. (Yes they are rated as a gay car, but they go like stink) $200000+ | |

| here is my history - now remember I am an old bastard so no digital cameras whilst i was growing up so these pics are "borrowed" from the interweb thingy - but are pretty close to what I had - in date order. As I grew up in kiwi land we had all the british cars... 100e Anglia (note - the COUPE!!! woo hoo) I was given this at age 15 after my brother blew up the engine...I had to rebuild it before I could drive it. This had the side value motor...the valves are in the block!!! MK1 Cortina Great car - had extractors and a webber. Written off when someone ran into me MK2 Cortina 1300cc column shift (anyone here old enough to remember column shifts?)... slooowwww MK3 Triumph Spitfire ahhh the memories.... Vauxhall Victor I put a 350 chev and TH400 into one of these....at the time it ran a flat 14sec 1/4mile with a 4.11:1 diff. The run was scary in this thing but is tame as hell now Austin 1300 what a pile of crap - but the missus of the time loved it....the things we do for.... Mini everyone has to own a mini at some stage in their life Then I moved to aus 1965 XP Falcon Coupe I put a late model 4.1 crossflow motor into this and took it to my first summer nats Whilst it looked greeat the body was rusty as hell otherwise i would still own it. Fiat X19 For all the crap that ppl give these they are actually a great car CRX Used to drive this from melb to adelaide for the weekend every couple of months Brought it up here when I moved... sold it to some young guy. I see it on the streets still (he has put a dent in the driver's door ) BMW E30 Loved this car - spent a lot of time and energy on it but in the end it was still just an old car. Now that I am getting on a bit I like my creature comforts.... VW POLO GTI | |
