Im kinda split when it comes to Origin as i was born in NSW, but lived 95% of my life in QLD. I dont follow football at all though. I watched the latest season of 'The Office' instead Very Happy

How is AFL boring, it is a real man's sport. None of this fanny eating, thumb thrusting puppy that they call Rugby. AFL players are REAL athletes and run rings around Rugby players

I think they're both a little ghey for running around a field chasing balls and cuddling other men. That said Origin is something special, it's always a step above the rest and a great excuse to have some pride and give puppy to some southerners.

All i see when i watch that crap is scrappy play the ball, un-structured plays, some dumb ref you throws a ball over the back of his head.... And AFL sucks so bad they award a point for missing a goal, like WTF?

AFL players can think for themselves and think on the go, so don't have to stand in a line adopting 1800's style warfare and charge their opponent. AFL's plays have better structure than the blow that rugby players snort up their noses and shoot into their arms to enable them to rape women, the ref doesn't need to look because he is simply that skilled to throw the ball back into the field, and finally they are awarded a point for missing because they would kick a puppy load straighter than any Rugby player ever could dream about. Anything else??

Haha riteo, first name that pops into my head when you said that is ben cousins! Real role model for aerial ping pong. AFL is big in other states, i get it, but like slo gti said its never going to be big up here. Id rather watch 80yo's play lawn bowls then a bunch of guys trying to fist a ball to each other all whilst tripping and stumbling over each other. Barry hall should do the game a favour and punch out one player at a time untill the code doesnt exist... Very Happy

Whoa. Calm down gents. We all like different sports and I suppose it comes down to where you grew up. Me I like AFL cause im a southener, but QLD's love there rugby which personally I dont understand, so each to there own.

When is the next test match anyway if thats what its called?
