| Hey all, red rhys here. just thought i would tell yyou all a bit about my swift. i bought it about two years ago after driving white rhys's first gti, fell in love with it the moment i saw it. had some gearbox problems early on, and had a few ups and downs along the way but overall, I LOVE MY SUZI!!!! Anyways, mods list..... Engine: sr20 throttle body (std gti one is 38mm, sr20 one is 60mm  ) adjsutable fuel pressure regulator exedy heavy duty clutch custom stainless intake suzisport ecu chip (allows car to rev to 9 grand happily...) AIR CON!!!!! (i know you are jealous mr lauder.....) Exterior: Full veilside body kit recently refitted dogs dick red paint job (the reddest red around baby!) Chrome 5 spoke seventeens (soon to make way for black six spoke 15's) really badly peeling and splicing tint Interior Full red and black leather retrim momo steering wheel trust gear knob with custom mounting adaptor short throw gear shift Speco Voltmeter guage some colour coded panels inside Suspension/Brakes slotted and drilled rotors all round king springs heavy duty lows all round brand new bendix gct pads faded red calipers fabricated red front and rear strut braces Stereo pioneer head deck with cool colour lcd screen that shows tacho ;-) fusion splits and tweeters mounted in door pods eclipse 6 x 9's in the parcel shelf sony xplod 12 inch sub in the rear soundstream amp (unknown power - it all goes pretty hard) full rewire from john collins before they shut down very loud! it has been off the road for the last six months as i lost my licence, before that happened, i hit a cat and tore out a huge bit of the front bumper, stayed like that for about twelve months, got defected for it, kept driving it for a while, mates bought me a new front bar for my 21st, got it fitted and painted, basically got a full exterior respray, cost me about 2800 but only took a week....pretty impressed with the results. and now the car is unregistered sitting in my driveway waiting for the cash to come through to get it regod. | HAHAHA gotta get the money to order the braided lines and mark up the cut out/drillout/bending points of my new oil cooler mount.... then ill bring it back out.
oh and i might punch the cat out :p
but it was on the road when i was living in brisbane.... broke it second night i had it in townsville LOL |

| went to try and install a air/fuel ratio gauge today to the lovable gti, had it all wired up in the engine bay as a test and it just read lean all the time. disconnected my o2 sensor and it ran fine, disconnected the gauge from the battery whilst being hooked up to the o2 sensor and it started spitting..........
then i have to work out where to install it...... | |
