Bloody oath it does. The only thing being that what ever lays out there may not share our optimism. They may be more involved with war and want to destroy us.

Astronomers believe there are an infinite amount of stars, just too many to count.
And earth cannot be the only planet with living species, that would be a 1 in infinite fluke.
There are definitely other planets alike.
Ive got plenty of documentaries on this stuff with Sam Neil as host, very interesting stuff.

Man that just tripped me out even more when i read that last comment. The actual image we see here is 800 million years old as that's how long it's 13billion light years away. That's just ridiculous the planet could have blown up a million years ago and we wouldn't see it for another 7 million years.

That's one aspect I find really cool!!! You can be seeing something that doesn't even exsit anymore... And if someone on that planet was looking at us... they'd be seeing dinosaurs n puppy roaming the planet..

What if each galaxy had Earth but in a different reality or Plane so to speak. All we need is a Stargate. Or Scotty.

This is nearly as bad as when we started talking about time travel... Moving through time would be the easy bit... the hard bit would be that the Earth would have revolved to a different point in space... so when you re-appear in time.. you'd be either in space or in the centre of the Earth!!!

I reckon there's most definately different 'races' out there.. I mean, they said there was what, over 10000 galaxies in that little bit of space they looked at. Reading this sorta stuff makes me wanna be an astronaut Bwahaha. Or work at NASA even... But I fail, my mini brain just wouldn't do it.

the fact that the speeds of which our "space travel" is means we will never EVER get a person to another solar system let alone "sustainable" planet in it while they are alive.... unless of course they are a small child.

Maybe if they used Black holes (hadron colidor based) to move it would be "humanly" possible...

The only limit is your own imagination....

But even replicating the hadron colidor to a "useable" size that can physically be used to move objects at will would take a huge amount of work!

Heres a fun fact apparently half of the stars you see in the sky are likely to have blown up already we just aren't going to see it for many many years lol

i cant get my head around this stuff its just awesome
