ok people i think we need a drag night so if ya's are keen on racing or watching us manly men/girls fight it out post it up. it will be around october time i think ill also consault the cairns nad mackay boy's again as when they came down the first time it made for a good night of racing so if ya keen POST AWAY and it dosent have to be a fwd so GRPABTI bring ya commy out as ill have the wags out lol see ya's out there

Yes well october is reasonable I think for me to have the VN back on the road and run in.

Should pick up some more traction Todd, without having a LSD I can imaging the car bounces all over the place. The coilovers should give you some decent times.

with Spoon engines... T66 turbos... direct port nitrous injection.. yeah, and a stand-alone fuel management system!

LSD's cost $900 plus installation cost of about $800.
Because being FWD, you have to kinda take apart the entire gearbox.
Only idiots pay to get it done.

I heard the Carby centre does it too. Dont know of anywhere else though.

Carby Centre/Performance Parts Plus, same company... they fill nos bottles.

Also BOC gas will fill it if you ask nicely.

900 is cheap for an LSD! Nismo ones go for about 1500...

It's not that hard. You forget about the people watching and just focus on the race. Besides, we as a group know our cars arent 10 second cars, not even 12 second for most, so we dont pick on people. Christ I think the slowest time was around 19 seconds so and that is still good for a 4 cylinder standard car.

When your in the staging lane, your heart starts to race, but as soon as your on the strip, you only focus on the lights.
Its great to watch though, theres generally always a 10/11 sec car out and they are fun to watch.
The bikes not so much, they all do 10's but they look too peaceful doing them. I wanna see a vehicle pitch and lean and struggle to cross the line.
