yeah finally got a response from the insurance company. I'll get the confirmation early next week. Its most likely a writeoff, due to their being 7K worth of damage.

Ask how much you can buy the car from the insurance if written off.

well i'm waiting until i hear back from them. They have to sell me the wreck back as they are not my insurance company.

Rhys - got rear ended, then the guy went into a rage and sideswiped me.

list of parts to be replaced:

boot, spoiler, spoiler light, tail light, rear bumper, rear reo, passenger door, passenger mirror, front quarter panel, front fender flare, front repeater, indicator, front bumper, and headlight protector.

Add painting and fitting to those items, which are mostly jap only parts, and it gets expensive real quick

only paid 6.5 for the car
