Annual Honda Cruise July 4th

HONDA MEET 2010

If your after a day that will provide Honda enthusiasts a fantastic run combining long sweeps, narrow hill climbs/descents and cruisey straights amongst the Sunshine Coast region, this days for you!

So here we go.

You will require:
• Full tank of Fuel at Jindalee
• Picnic food for when arriving at Somerset Dam
• camera
• friendly, non-hooning Cruising attitude
• CB radios optional although being familiar with the route before heading out is a good idea

cruise duration: 2-3 hours (more if continuing to Brisbane via Mt. Glorious afterwards)

1st Meeting point will be at Jindalee DFO carpark
Time: 830am leave 930 am

We will be taking the Warrego Hwy A2 and heading to Somerset via Esk A3, getting off at Esk Kilcoy Road which leads to Somerset Dam

Time:11am (google says can take upto 1 hour 50 mins from Jindalee DFO)

Here people could bbq, eat a picnic and hang out, good open area to park up and gather for awhile.

Heading home you have a few options, ether heading back which you came or turning off at Wivenhoe Somerset Road and having a nice scenic drive back to Brisbane via Mt. Glorious & Mt. Nebo.
