| it is actually from the japanese U12 Bluebird, it was pillarless AWD and SR20DET there are a quite a few in Aus and make the perfect sleeper. Standard pulsar box. But sooner rather than later i hope to get either a primera or pintara KA box (both have LSD) maybe even get it back to having the dog box that it did when it was built. | |

| If you lot wanta meet up just give me some notice. I do not drive it much since i got the new triton,( i drove it heaps when i got it because i loved it so much and was sick of the falcon work ute.) it just lives in the workshop so i can do little bits to it. Between work the missus and the baby, time is precious. but i usually get her out friday afternoon but generally drive straight home. unless i need the baby seat and then it is the triton. lol | |

| Have been a bit busy with the girl..... New front speakers. Not just that but have also sound deaded and sealed the doors where possible with MDF. Complete interior respray. Smoothed dash (this was not an easy thing) half smoothed rest of facia peices. I stripped out 2 cars worth of parts to get the bits i wanted and carry some spares for my other one. All panels have been sprayed both sides now so it looks like a stock part. A hell of a lot of work went into this. And still have more to do. Still waiting on some electroluminesent paper from the states to finish the cluster off. Tacho now works on the cluster. (swaped over off of another one - tacho only) New brackets for the Turbo timer and Rev/Speed Meter. Not the dodgy way it was done before. Moved the Rev/Speed meter forward and refitted vent ( i need all the vents in Townsville weather) Plus it is now not just cable tied in place to holes drilled in vent area. Also moved turbo time to new bracket and made it removable (not just double sided tape.) Modified bracket for the boost controller. (i can now open the ash tray) But that will change soon, i am going to mould a panel onto the ashtray. I still have to swap rear speakers, mould the center console to house the micro tech in its new posistion and quite a few other things to get it to where i am happy. All wiring is now tidy and alot more removed. But for now it is time to fix the gearbox so i have a chance to make it to the drags. At least that might let the yellow grow off my finger nails. Oh...............and the Hummer was just a hire car for the missus birthday. something for her with driving her to places to get spoilt and something for me with getting to drive the Hummer. LOL | |

| i will be there for a look, but as far as my car goes. I would have to push it.
I think it is just the throw out bearing with the gearbox. but my lazy starter motor finally said " get stuffed, i have done enough work with you mucking about with stuff and using me for bugger all reason.........blah .........blah ...........blah......." i stopped listening after awhile. and now all it says is "wwwwwweeeeeeeeeeeee" and it no longer talks to the flywheel. I thought the KA was a hard starter to get to...........bugger me............i need an extra joint in my fore-arm. | |
