| Check your ball joints and tie rod. Can almost guarantee it'll be one of these two. Always is on the Pulsars. | |

| Was a 16.6 haha was good considering the stock civic is supposed to do 17.1 and it has 18's on it. It's retired from drag racing now though | |

| Just playin with ya timmy. She just needs a bit more work and more substantial mods to get it doing the times you want it to do. Ya cant do small things and expect massive power differences. It just dont work like that. | |

| spending the 1k on boosting it would've been the better option. MSD ignition will only work if you have a fully built engine, not a stock one | |

hi I'm sir2J's wife. I own the ralliart colt. I think it was the second last run of the night. Painful getting there but cracked it in the end! FINALLY! Found out my husband was running with Traction control on most of the night. Although if I ran we would have been in the 16's.

| Timmy bruz, honestly I reckon you could still squeeze another 5/10th's outta the Civic, given last night you had a nice launch but couldn't get the shift right it would have been a mid to high 16 easy... don't get down on having a slower time than some other cars, half the fun is beating a more powerful car with a less powerful car.... people love underdogs. After watching a few races some cogs were running in my head and maybe i will stick with the carby engine first and see what I can extract from it and give you a go. Sure enough my car will be stripped out but ill give you a head start.... you're first run was probably your best of the night... just gotta keep cracking at it brother. | |

| Just wait till I getz the Vitara back on the road!!! (should be tommorow) I wanna try n crack the 20sec 1/4 mile in the thing, but I think it would be really great to have another person in the same bracket to race with (just for fun). Two of the best moments for me last night was racing against a similar paced car, and watching Tim and Nate's duel... I couldn't give a stuff that there were sub second cars out last night... I didn't dare pick on Jaqui's Colt though!!!! Does that make me a wuss? | |

| Every time i go out to the drag way, I always post a best time, I keep chipping at the times by a tenth of a second. By that logic, I should be in the 10's this time next year. | |

| Hee hee!! Yeah!!! Hey, I was thinking.... You de-pressurized your tyres? Wouldn't that give more drag over the quater mile? Or does the grip at the start (60') that you gain make it worth while? | |

| Its not so much me beating other people Hano what I dont like is spending a fair amount of money with not much result. I drag race like I play golf beat yourself when you dont it gives me the puppy. Anyhow, Carby Centre was supposed to have my dizzy cap ages ago would have made the spark amp run alot better. Pitty I didnt have it in time.
Dont get me wrong though I had alot of fun out there its just annoying when you spend the money and dont get results. |

You gotta make the compromise somewhere. But as the wheels are spinning well over 100kph when your down the end, I reckon the wheels will have expanded so much to counter the drag of a deflated tyre.
