| Josh (GRPABT1) and myself went today and had an awesome time. Did anyone else go or is anyone going over the weekend? I got a few vids of the micro's I'll be posting vids and pics soon. I really did have an awesome day. Epic really. Only got to see Rick and Todd Kelly in teh flesh and ummmm someone else but I forgot his name. Skaifey did a couple of laps (first person to do laps of the Townsville track), which I got a vid of also. I have epic sunburn (no Josh I am NOT complaining!). I soooooooooo cannot wait for next year! Corporate box FTMFEW! Pics and vids to follow soon | |

| I went to work this morning, got in the Hi-Ace and went to the track. Went for a wander through the pits, spoke to some of the racers, got signed cap from Fabian Coulthard and Micheal Patrizi and they showed us the cars, checked out their trucks and ran into a good family friend.... John Bowe. Also nearly stepped on Dick Johnson. Got quite a few photos, watched the XXXX Angels do a couple of dances, looked at some ass and boobs, watched a few practise sessions, took some more pics. Then headed back to work to knock off... yes life is hard sometimes. Going tommorrow with the wife and should be a crack-a-lackin good day. Suprisingly the drivers are finding a few corners difficult and most are running telematry based upon either Adelaide or Hamilton street circuits. Will be a good weekend and for 50 bucks a day isn't too bad. Get out and enjoy it folks. P.S. Got some pics up on Facebook, just search my name Aaron Hanley and you'll find them easy enough. Peace out!!! | |

We noticed this today. T2 was the worst that I saw anyway. I'll be there tomorrow, working

| Yeah the right hander before the chicane is also tricky, they go in a bit fast and have to brake mid-corner which unsettles the car and they run wide, Jason Bright almost ate the wall and went into pits straight after that, must have needed to change his undies I reckon.
Cement walls hurt hahaha.

| Shane Gisbergen (SP Tools) was ALWAYS wobbly on T2 when we were watching. I think, if any crash happens over the event, he'll be the first to go. | |

| Some decent racing, sun was a drawback, god that had some heat in it. Not enough space on the mounds which was a shame and the concert was only 1/3rd decent. The local band that was on first was absolute Emo Rubbish, and Potbelly's (however it is spelt) was absolute junk, they need to develop talent quick smart (played the same song 4 times during their gig, and also what were we ready for??), poor and tragic entertainers who need to learn that it was a family environment and excessive swearing and homosexual acts like two dudes kissing wasn't acceptable, There were kids there for frogger's sake. Pathetic.
Then Eskimo Joe came on, wow, they did a good gig. Brought back some old songs as well and are real entertainers. The crowd got up on their feet and were loving it even begging for an encore. They got it, was definitely the highlighting gig of the night, just a shame they weren't before the First two, so people could leave and not deal with the junk they served up.

The sun was a killer! Didn't bother staying for the concert, new Potbelly's was gonna be puppy. I think it's sad that they played the same song 4 times, goes to show how full of talent they are
