just having a squizzle through the specs, why the hell have you got a rising rate fuel pressure regulator?? and you say it is set at 45 psi, what is its peak?? you have made mild modifications to the intake, but i dont think you will be getting enough air in to compensate for having the reg set that high, and thats probably just at idle.

not trying to take a stab mate, just giving some constructive criticism, seeing how cars can be different.

nah he just said fpr i just got a rising rate one atd fuel psi is 36psi and i am now runnig 40psi cause at 45psi it spits and idles rough

that is to be expected. i have a 60mm throttle body and i am only running 40psi of rail pressure, but it is constant as mine is just adjustable. how much modifications have been made to your intake??

mild port job man that is all very little it was ground out so it would match the 1.6l head ports as its a 1.5l mainifold and they have smaller ports

ok update again just got my brand new 15'' digital designs sub its a 3515a 1500wrms/3000watt peak sub i will be running it at 1800wrms thats from the my oa amp running at a very unstable 0.75ohm lol so ben you still might have a chance now lol you can see the difference in sizes from my old 2515a to my new 3515a its big

From hat I saw tonite the OA amp seems to cope just fine with the .75 ohm load so your setup should be pretty safe I'm still thinking old school with normal AB amp setups, where even running 1-1.5 ohm loads was pretty harsh. Good beefy sound setup man, and it'll be great to see what dBs you can get out of it!

Have you mucked around with the specific frequency you are gonna burp it at? 45 sounds about right when I heard it tonite, but ya never know, you could pick up a few more dBs with a slightly higher or lower freq... From memory the charades down south used to burp at around the 45-50hz region because the car acoustics helped a bit more at those freqs... At stock the Charade's resonant frequency is about 42Hz, but that all goes out the window when you have a massive sub box like yours in the car!!!

Hey also (yeah I'm full of questions because I'm bored at work), have you checked to see how much the sub moves when the back hatch is closed? Because sometimes what sounds shocking and loose with the hatch open sounds a lot better when its closed due to the cabin pressure loading...
