Just got back from speaking to the guys at Aitkinvale Auto, first time there, and its a very impressive garage. Anyways, Ive got them writing up a quote so hopefully should hear from them tomorrow, but they guy there reckons he can tune the car without needing a replacement ECU. Normally, I thought these guys wanted to sell everything they can to you. I told him I would like to have an ECU, just for reliability and tuning sakes.

I've been there for some minore work before and they're gonna do the ecu, tune and fuel system for my VN. They've done some mates cars, R32 90NER and a red VP SS stroker. Also seen a quad throttle 4age in there once and the old BLOWER VK with a blown stroked twin throttle V8 was rebuilt and tuned there.

I have another one now but am still trying to set it up the way i want it. Want to go the standard LSD 5 speed from the TRX, just need a bellhousing. That way drive shafts and everything stays standard and stronger. And i have 2 to do now.

Is SR20 the same bolt pattern as CA18? If so, the bellhousing from my old gearbox should still be at Jap Motors.

Apparently not.
The only options you have (apparently) is the 50 series bellhousing or the 32 weak as piss box.
But it still makes you want to have a look for yourself.

what about the bell housing from the GTiR? That is a 50 series box. Only bit im un sure of is if the transfer case nesessitated the need for a different shape to the standard 50V.

yeah it is a different shape. I have one from the u12 Bluebird in the back of the ute and am pretty sure the Gtir would be similar.

Picked up my car from the garage at Guy McKenzie, and was asking the owner about his black turbo Camry. If you remember it was the black Camry with a TRD body kit at Blue waters car show. Its a custom turbo kit, built and tuned at some garage in Brisbane. It runs 10psi, and makes 130kw atw, the most recent dyno run While it is a unique car, cant wonder, the V6 Camry/Aurion makes much more power from its stock V6. He is yet to take the car to the drag strip.
