| He is Nascar mad. He booked a drive for the Daytona Anniversary (2 years ago i think) and it got rained out. He went back this year to watch the race again and have his drive in a Nascar around Daytona. He did the 8 lap run. 1 warm up, 6 laps and 1 wind down. The first time he went he took a ride in one and the second one was the one the he missed because of rain. This one he finally got to drive. You follow another vehicle and have to stay 4 lengths behind. | |

The last time he went they stopped at the Grand Canyon and some blokes were mucking about in some wild dune buggys. And they offered..........and he got a ride in one of them as well. | |

| Yeah............they push close to 200. But the people are not silly. You can only get faster if you pay for more laps. I think you can do 8-16-32 laps. I suppose they are not to keen on letting you go that fast in a proper Nascar with only 6 full laps under your belt. He said the car had plenty more in it, he felt like overtaking the quide.
But he did say it still felt bloody quick sitting a couple of car lengths away doing 230 Kph | |
