| So this is my car, bought it in September in 2008. 1989 Toyota Corolla SX with a Toyota Levin 4AGZE engine swapped in. Modifications: 12 PSI pulley on supercharger. Front mount inter-cooler Extractors - 2.25" exhaust And a meaty Exedy Heavy Duty clutch 2" Lowering kit. Probably doesn't look that low with it running on stock rims. Can't afford wheels Currently makes 100KW ATW Gained extra 2KW from a K&N panel filter - Haven't uploaded dyno plots though. Can vouch they do work. Probably the most impressive thing is that in any gear, plant your foot and it really goes, boosts 12psi instantly. Planned mods are probably a new intake manifold from the N/A 4age, as the 4agze manifold is in a stupid position on top of the engine. | |

They are not stock, I bought the car like this. Originally its a top mount inter-cooler, but then I'd have to have a hole in the bonnet. And yes I agree they are not the best setup. The reason it's like that is because the intercooler is side mounted, on the right, that's so i can keep the air conditioning. Yep, its got aircon. Mounting it in a more efficient way would either mean, removing the aircon, or hacking up the bumper to fit. If I could fine a inter-cooler setup that would work with the aircon, and I'm sure I will once I start looking, I'll definitely look into it.

| i must say man, i love having aircon in my car too. but yeah fair enough on the pipes. how much room is between the bumper and the condensor man?? and i must say that it is all a tight squeeze too....... | |

| Not alot of space, its all filled with plastic bumper junk.... You gotta see for yourself. Maybe we will meet this Thursday? The only way i can think of is buying one of those 6 inch tall intercoolers that way I can squeeze it in at the bottom. Anyone got deals on inter-coolers? | |

| Seems like I have a picture of the problem. As you can see, all it is, it's the stock inter-cooler mounted at the front. And even with the stock inter-cooler which is pretty damn small, it already rubs against the bumper. And thats only like 3-4 inches thick. | |

Ha, yea definitely keeps up to about 80/100kph but after that, the supercharger runs out of puff. Now if only I could get an inter-cooler of the xr6t. Haven't really been looking...

| Thing is, Id need to test fit it first. There really isn't a lot of space for it. The main problem is that the inter-cooler would hit the aircon fan, and if it doesn't, the inter-cooler piping would interfere with the aircon. | |
