Oh definitely, I made that clear. They reckon everything will still go back together fine. Right now theres no major problem. If it comes down to it, I'll simply use a smaller turbo. However they do assure me they can work it out. That is the only issue right now, everything else is going smoothly. Getting the intercooler pipeing and blow off valve fitted tomorrow.

| Just called them today. All the clearance problems have been sorted. That was the only issue that was concerning me over the past few weeks. Right now its getting all the vacuum lines routed and getting cleaned up. I expect to see it back this Thursday or Friday. | |

| Forgot to mention, they've put everything back into the engine. Most importantly the AIRCON!!! Practically everything is finished now, its just the fiddly vacuum lines. They quoted me 3 weeks for the work starting on the 26th of October, so if i get it back by Friday its only going to be 4 days over, which is very reasonable. Here's hoping I get it back on Friday.
Only thing I'm not happy about is that they have cut lots of plastic out of the cooling fan surround. I'll contact Troy to see if i can get a thinner cooling fan, if there is such a thing.

Will wait to get the ECU installed before I do any real testing. Should make 140-150kw on 12psi of boost and 180-190kw at 16/17psi. Its a proven setup with many people off the Twincam forums using the exact same setup, which is T25 turbo, 550cc EVO injectors and 500hp wahlbro pump on a stock engine. So i expect to see similar results, however, with the dramas RX7 Chris has, maybe I shouldn't expect a certain amount of power.

| Mate I wouldn't put Chris's dramas back on Aitkenvale, my car made the power i was hoping for. With the latest touch up on the tune (for free mind you as they warrant their tunes) i'm very happy with the driveability and fuel economy. Good work takes time and custom stuff is never straight forward. If we wanted easy projects we'd all be driving bolt on ls1 commodores lol |

I don't think he was putting it on Aitkenvale, I think he's talking more about the fact that Mazda Chris had a target number that he wanted to achieve, and then got lots of dramas reaching that number. He just doesn't want to tempt fate by expecting something. In reality, any gain is going to be good, regardless of the number. Speaking of dynos, where's the cheapest place to get a power run?

| Doesn't look like im getting the car tonight Car runs, but during test drive, a few things were rubbing against the motor. So they are working on re routing the lines and making a heat shield for something. Bah... Sounds like RX7 Chris was right about their scheduling...unfortunately Only upside is that I can take comfort the car runs and drives. | |

| Headaches are starting it seems, hope they can sort it out quick mate.
You would have thought that prior to doing a road run they would check lines and stray items to make sure they are secured/routed properly, poor planning and execution.
No doubt you are gonna hit the drags ASAP as well....

| I made a last minute decision to pop in to the shop. The results are even better than I thought: Its beautiful, the intake pipe and heat shield looks fantastic and very clean. They even let me drive the car. I drove the car for 10 mins, and the car works better than before. It starts very easy with no hunting. The aircon works with no hunting. The power is very progressive. After 10 mins driving, and now driving the white corolla back home makes me sad. The car feels perfect, WHY DONT THEY GIVE IT TO ME!!!! | |

| Ohh and further treat: DYNO It makes 82kw ATW, which is lower than before. But its only on 4psi of boost!!! and no tune. Stock gze makes 85kw atw at 8psi of boost. So I have very high hopes of very good power. Im extatic with the result. Sure its going to take 1 week longer than I though, but the work really looks fantastic. | |

| Ohh and Aitkenvale auto are idiots for putting a red car behind the dyno results, they should have washed out the picture of the car. But look at how straight the power is. I cant make out what the RPM is though | |
